- Fire EVERYBODY. Scouts, GMs, marketing people, Presidents, Trainers, P.A. Guy, Ice Dancers, Team Doctors, Zamboni Drivers, Ad sales people.

- Trade most of the team, buy out those you can’t get anything for.

- Take the 3rd jerseys and (burn) them. In fact, as a show of how serious the team is about making things different lets roll out a whole new logo, new colors, new image.. I would go so far as to say consider changing the team name. Get some green colors in there to match the empty seats and the green plants in the everglades.. you know, the Panthers natural habitat.

- Get exciting players.. sign a guy that will fight, sign 5 or 6 guys that will consistently score don’t sign anybody that someone else doesn’t want.

- Make a new rule for the players. No golf during the season. EVER. You think they’re playing 18 holes in Calgary in the middle of February. Play hockey or retire.

- Get a new scoreboard, a real and proper old-school pipe organ, a REAL goal horn.. in fact, hit up the people at NCL and steal a horn from one of their boats and use it.

- Go to every season seat holder and start giving refunds off next year. Go by how long they’ve had seats. Since 93? 100% refund. Since 94, 94% refund, since 95 88% refund and so on. They’ve earned it.

- Get rid of the G/D Celine Dion Banner and the Draft Banner and the Expansion points banner, put them in the lobby with the old scoreboard.

- Bring back Potvin in some capacity and give him his own banner in the lobby apologizing for the way you treated him this year.

- Set up a legal scalping zone or stop giving away so many free tickets. If you don’t know that you’re devaluing your own product by doing this then you need to be taken out to the swamp and buried.

- Stop pandering to opposing teams fans. DO NOT play Journey when the Wings are in town, do not play Neil Diamond or Dropkick Murphys when the Bruins are in towwn, same with Bon Jovi and the Devils, Rocky theme and the Flyers and Sinatra with the Rangers.

- Set an ultimatum. Winning in the playoffs before the 20th anniversary of the team or close up shop and leave town.”
